Yesterday Rikki and I (and the muses) went to meet some students at the library of Paul Revere Middle School in the lovely town of Brentwood, CA. It was a short talk, (only about 40mins) but a lot of fun meeting and signing books and SB postcards for everyone. I just wanted to say an open Thank you so much to librarian Cynthia and to all the students who invited us there and shared their lunchtime with us. I wish we had more time to talk~ but, maybe we'll get to come back next year ^____^ Until then, I hope some of them find their way to DA to keep updated on our current art, projects & events.

After that, we went to TokyoPop to finally pick up the large mounted promo poster of Thom (cover art to ShutterBox 4) ~ yay~! It came out gorgeous and I can't wait to display it at the next event we have. ^_____^ Speaking of cover art, I'll be working on the final cover to ShutterBox vol. 6 this weekend. It'll be the last volume to the ShutterBox series and it still hasn't sunk in yet. I know it's been a long, long haul and so much has happened since the first SB1 manga back in 2003~but, I know I'll miss the world and the characters after vol.6 is done. However, even though it's more than a year away of completion, already the muses are planning more ideas for a fun new project after SB.

Once we left TokyoPop we ventured to Mom's former home to start the process of cleaning out her closet and dresser. Also, we're trying to help Grandma adjust and to prepare her for her new room-mate. She's a bit nervous and of course that's understandable. In all her nearly 90 years she's always been with family before~ so this will be the first time she's ever had a room-mate. ^^*
